  1. Rink 1

    • Seating capacity of 1,800+ people
    • NHL-size rink dimensions (200 ft. x 85 ft.)
    • Outfitted for sled(ge) hockey play
    • Located on the south end of the sixth floor
    • A wood truss ceiling showcases the rink’s design
    • The home rink of Canisius College’s NCAA Division I ice-hockey team
    • The home rink of the Buffalo Junior Sabres youth hockey organization
  2. Rink 2

    • Seating capacity of 135+ people
    • NHL rink dimensions (200 ft. x 85 ft.)
    • Located on the north end of the sixth floor
  3. Locker Rooms
    • A total of 6,100 square feet of locker room space is on the sixth floor
    • The sixth floor is comprised of nine ADA compliant locker rooms and two referee rooms
    • In addition, The Academy of Hockey coaching staff has dedicated rooms on the sixth floor
    • There are two dedicated off-ice training locker rooms
    • Canisius College’s Division I men’s hockey team has a dedicated locker room on the sixth floor
    • The Buffalo Junior Sabres Junior A (OJHL) hockey team has a dedicated locker room on the sixth floor
    • The Canisius and Jr. Sabres locker rooms account for 2,350 square feet
  4. Concessions
    • There are two concession stand areas; one concession stand is located on the 6th floor and one concession stand is located on the seventh floor
    • The sixth floor concession stand is 480 square feet
    • The seventh floor concession stand is 527 square feet
  5. IMPACT Sports Performance – Training Facility
    • The state-of-the-art training facility is conveniently located on the sixth floor so athletes can easily transition from on-ice to off-ice programs.
    • The performance coaches on staff at IMPACT are highly certified and experienced in multiple disciplines; they have trained some of the best athletes in the world in the sports of hockey, baseball, football, basketball, boxing, MMA, tennis, track, soccer, swimming, and lacrosse.

  6. Academy of Hockey
    • The Academy of Hockey provides on-ice, off-ice, and classroom programming and is dedicated to being the premier development destination for hockey players and coaches.

    • The classroom seats 50+ people
    • A large screen with telestration capabilities enables coaches and players to freehand draw over a moving or still video image
  8. Theater
    • The theater has tiered seating for 40+ people
    • A large screen with telestration capabilities enables coaches and players to freehand draw over a moving or still video image
  9. RapidShot
    • RapidShot is a patented hockey training system that automatically passes and collects pucks. It is known as, “The batting cage for hockey players”. There are eight pass speeds and intervals for training snap shot, wrist shot, backhand and one-timers. RapidShot is the only professional shooting system in the world that measures accuracy, shot speed and reaction time.
