Birth year: 2005

Part 2 (July, August) – $299

This off-season, the Academy of Hockey off-season program will be broken into two parts:   Part 1 -Spring and Part 2 – Summer.  After a long hockey season, the spring program will be a once a week program and as we turn to summer, the program expands to twice per week to ensure you are ready for the up coming season.

This POD Group will contain “AAA” players only from the 2005 birth year and will include at total of 30 hours of ice via 24 on ice sessions as well as 16 off ice sessions:

Part 2 – SUMMER

  • Eight (8) – 75 minute Ice sessions
  • Eight (8) – IMPACT off ice training sessions

The Academy of Hockey’s coaching staff will lead a small group of players through a series of development sessions with a training emphasis on the Technical, Physical, and Mental aspects of hockey. The Academy staff believes that these skills translate to the highest-level game.  Included in the Pod Development program are:

  • On ice Skill Development – the skill and situational specific program will consistently test participants. The Academy coaching staff has added many new concepts to this off season’s curriculum to supplement the core skill base we feel is essential.
  • Small Group Training – Deliberate and constructive on ice instruction is essential to skill growth.  This program will have a 4:1 Player to Coach ratio or lower each session.
  • Off-Ice Training – Once per week IMPACT training sessions (spring) and twice per week sessions (summer) will be tailored to hockey strength and explosion.
