“Little Academy” Skating & Skills Program: 2011-2012 Birth Years

Eight (8) Consecutive Weekly Sessions – $200

The Little Academy Skating and Skills program is a great way to bolster your hockey player’s skill growth during the beginning stages of their development.  The EIGHT (8) consecutive week program will focus on:

  • Skating: foundational skating competencies to include stride, proper balance and edge control, coordination, and strength.
  • Puck Skills: puck competencies foundational to the mechanics of passing, handling and shooting the puck.
  • Small Group Training – Deliberate and constructive on ice instruction is essential to skill growth. This program will have a 5:1 Player to Coach ratio or lower each session.

For aspiring hockey players with the ability to already skate, the Academy of Hockey development staff’s goal is to deliver a fun, welcoming experience that will further their interest and excitement for the game of hockey.
