SPRING PROGRAMS

SPRING DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS

The traditional youth hockey season spans from September to March. After the traditional season, the spring season begins with tournament teams comprised of players from multiple organizations. The Academy of Hockey’s Spring Development Programs provide players with the opportunity to focus on their individual game, develop core hockey skills, and build hockey IQ, without the pressure of team games and systems. Our staff will provide each player with the ability to 1) understand a concept through detailed explanation, 2) develop skills through controlled repetition, and 3) build confidence through positive reinforcement and instant correction. The 2015 Spring Development Programs offered from April 6th through June 25th include:

  • Pod Development Program – Mite, Squirt, Pee Wee, Bantam, and Midget travel level players
  • Academy Skating Program – Mite and Squirt players
  • Academy Innovation Sessions – Squirt, Pee Wee and Bantam travel-level players
  • “Little Academy” Skating & Skills Program – Pre-Mite players
  • Goalie Pod Development Program – Mite, Squirt, Pee Wee, Bantam, and Midget players
